Pacific Blue Cross
Submitted through Pacific Blue Cross PROVIDERnet when the service, practitioner, and member plan are eligible.
Therapy Now offers direct billing in Surrey for eligible Registered Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Kinesiology, and Clinical Counselling claims through many major Canadian insurance companies and electronic claims networks.
Direct billing means Therapy Now submits an eligible claim electronically to your insurance company after your appointment. When the claim is approved immediately, you normally pay only the amount not covered by your plan.
Some insurers pay the clinic, while others send reimbursement to the plan member. Some claims may be held for review or require you to submit the receipt yourself. Your insurer—not Therapy Now—makes the final coverage and payment decision.
Electronic billing availability differs by insurer and practitioner profession. Student massage and non-registered bodywork are generally not eligible for extended-health reimbursement.
Direct billing may be available when your plan covers treatment by a Registered Massage Therapist.
Eligible acupuncture claims may be submitted electronically when supported by your plan and insurer.
Coverage varies significantly. Confirm that your plan covers kinesiology before your appointment.
Coverage depends on the counsellor's designation and the mental-health professions included in your plan.
Therapy Now may be able to submit eligible claims through TELUS Health eClaims to the organizations below. TELUS Health notes that insurer participation, supported professions, features, and provincial availability can differ. Your card may also display the name of an employer, union, administrator, or benefit plan rather than the insurer's main brand.
Not every insurer uses TELUS Health eClaims. Therapy Now also uses other insurer portals and provider networks when the patient's plan, practitioner, and service are eligible.
