Pain and stiffness often worsen after the initial shock wears off. Injuries like whiplash, soft tissue strain, or alignment shifts may not appear immediately.

In Surrey, our team uses massage therapy, acupuncture, and body realignment to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and restore movement. Clinical counselling can help manage stress and nervous system sensitivity. Starting treatment early prevents chronic issues.

Yes! Car accidents can cause pelvic shifts, leg-length discrepancies, and spinal misalignment if the cause is functional and not structural.

At our Surrey clinic, we use body realignment with massage therapy, and acupuncture to restore proper alignment, improve posture, and reduce compensatory pain. Correcting these issues early prevents long-term chronic pain and supports faster recovery.

Recovery depends on injury severity, age, and treatment type.

With early, ICBC-approved care in Surrey, many patients see improvement within 4–6 weeks. Delayed injuries may take 3–6 months and severe injuries may take up to a year to recover.

Massage therapy, acupuncture, and clinical counselling can help accelerate healing, reduce pain, and improve mobility. We create a customized plan to restore function and prevent long-term complications.

If you’ve used your pre-approved 12 visits or it’s been more than 12 weeks since your accident, don’t worry — you may still be eligible for additional treatments.

Here’s how it works:

  • Your therapist can submit a Treatment Plan Request to ICBC if more care is needed to help you fully recover.

  • ICBC will review your request and may approve additional visits if your injury requires it.

  • If your recovery is taking longer than expected, your direct communication with your ICBC recovery specialist helps speed up approval.

  • In some cases, other benefits like personal care assistance or travel reimbursement may be available if your injuries are severe.
