Yes! Therapy Now can directly bill both Medavie and Pacific Blue Cross for eligible massage therapy sessions, so you don’t have to pay out-of-pocket.

It’s simple:

1. Book your appointment.
2. Provide us with your insurance information through your intake form.
3. When you arrive to your appointment, we will submit the claim directly to Blue Cross or Medavie.
4. Any amount not covered by your insurance company will be charged to you.

Most Blue Cross insurance plans do not require a  doctor’s note.

However, if you are part of the RCMP or Veterans Affair, once you have used up your benefits for the year, you will need another doctor's note to get approved for more. 

Coverage depends on your specific plan and employer. Most plans cover Registered Massage Therapy (RMT), but we recommend checking your benefits. 

Most Fraser Health hospital employees have extended health benefits through Pacific Blue Cross that cover Registered Massage Therapy. Typically:

• 80% coverage per session, up to $136.
• After reaching $1,000 in claims, coverage may increase to 100% per session, up to $136.
